It is so weird to see my flist going all fangirly over deities that have been part of my life since the earliest childhood. Yes, the Norse gods were part of the Danish elementary school curriculum. :)

I'm part Norwegian on my mother's side, so I've always had an interest in Norse mythology. There is also a great deal of Norse mythology in a Snape/Harry story I wrote years ago. That's an awesome elementary school curriculum, though.
