I just took a gander at the Multifacted Awards to see who won. I was nominated for two categories and TOTALLY DID NOT expect to win. That's not my issue. However...

Why am I noticing a pattern with the MFA? Why are most of the winners a.) authors I have never fucking heard of (the exception being dementordelta -- congratulations sweets!) and b.) mostly SS/HG fics?

Not that I have anything against the pairing, but...

How did cybele_san only get an honorable mention for IYAP?

Haha. Absolutely.
As ptyx said: "HP Fandom is big". Yep, Big fandom, very big fandom, not very "logical" (and that´s such a subjective word these days, I know. I am as guilty as the next fellow) most of the time either and that´s why we love/hate it most of the time. But, IYAP receiving only an honorable mention? Well, I am feeling positively alone in my logical/illogical corner.
