I just took a gander at the Multifacted Awards to see who won. I was nominated for two categories and TOTALLY DID NOT expect to win. That's not my issue. However...
Why am I noticing a pattern with the MFA? Why are most of the winners a.) authors I have never fucking heard of (the exception being![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dementordelta -- congratulations sweets!) and b.) mostly SS/HG fics?
Not that I have anything against the pairing, but...

Date: 2005-08-04 11:29 pm (UTC)I've read some of the SS/HG stories, and I can't believe that they edged out the others in the category based on sheer merit; it's just because of their pairing. Hinge of Fate beating IYAP, for instance.
