Fandom Discussion: New HBP Additions -- yea or nay?

Since there have been several new character additions from HBP, I decided to do a post to see who took a shine or a dislike to whom -- and also to discuss new favorite ships.

I see no reason really to put this behind a cut. But I implore you, if you have not yet read HBP, DON'T peruse the comments!

What new characters did you like/dislike?

What new ships (or renewed interests in old, forgotten ships) have tickled your fancy?

I'm not sure if these count, but...

Eew to weepy Tonks. I know, she was all heartbroken and mopey because Remus loves Sirius more than her Remus is holding out on her, but whatever. She wasn't one of my more favourite characters in OotP, and she's still not very high on my to-like list in HBP.

WTF was up with Mary-Sue!Ginny?! She's all of a sudden pretty and popular and witty and wot. I think JK read one too many fics from ff.net.

What new ships (or renewed interests in old, forgotten ships) have tickled your fancy?

Seriously? So much of the H/D. I think with the introduction of sensitive!Draco, there'll be a flood of angsty redemption fics. And to that I say, bring it! <3333333
