Does anyone play Doom III?

themostepotenteDude, I am stuck in Hell. I canNOT seem to kill the boss at the end of this level to obtain the Soulcube. This is severly pissing me off. Does anyone play this game and have a suggestion? This is for XBOX.

Date: 2005-05-04 03:48 pm (UTC)So, the SouldCube whispers to you "Kill the seekers and the Guardian becomes vulnerable" (or something like that). Therefore you have to kill all the little enemies he sends at you. He'll send 3 at a time. Once you've killed them the boss will pause to summon more and a blue glowing orb will appear over his head. Shoot the thing with the heaviest weapons you have! This will take his energy down.
By this time more little enemies will come at you.
Repeat until he dies and the soul cube is yours. Hurrah!
There are medikits hidden behind the pillars that you can grab when your health gets low.

Date: 2005-05-05 12:59 am (UTC)After hell? Well, you still have about 1/4 of the game to go! (but really, the hardest boss is the on you're fighting now, I reckon. Once you get the BFG and the SoulCube everything is a little bit easier! lol)

Date: 2005-05-06 05:42 am (UTC)I thought the Soulcube would clear a room, but it only kills 'one' at a time, and you need to kill 'five' in order for it to work. What a rip, man :P
