How do you delete a community you mod (I maintain) that you don't want anymore? I inadvertently deleted my own journal for a fraction of second in trying to do so. I clicked on the comm I wanted to delete (under 'work as') and still it deleted my personal journal. What am I doing wrong?

*feels like a major idjit*

ETA: It worked now. Stupid motherfucker!

Are you the maintainer of the community or only a mod? As far as I know only maintainers can delete communities..

Hmm. Very strange. Maybe it's an LJ glitch? Or maybe there's something wrong with the cookie..

I guess you could always create a sockpuppet journal, transfer maintainer rights to the sockpuppet and try deleting it that way?

That's a good idea, actually. Thanks!
