Yeah, um, so my hair is now blonde. Partially because I am dressing up as Draco Malfoy for Halloween and was so NOT keeping my hair brown.

And marksykins asked for pictures. You got it babe. There will be picture taking o' plenty I assure you.

My friend Jan is going as Harry. I saw her in full costume yesterday and oh my God, this is so pathetic, I was turned on by it. *blushes*

lysrouge is going to be our Ron. Go slashy trio! Alas, I could not recruit a Hermione.

And much love to Dr. Lis. He went to Amsterdam and brought me back a bottle of absinthe. I don't know how he smuggled it back because it is illegal in the United States. Our country is just so fucking uptight about these things, I swear.

Has anyone finished Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell yet? Dear GOD, the slash possibilities! They astound me! Must finish this book soon.

Oh, and for all of you Snack fans -- lizardspots and I are doing a Snack comic. She is so talented, I can't wait to see how this comes out!

I only have to read a phrase or see a glimpse of a piccie to be bunnied *so* hard at the moment, that I'm almost scared to look. But there is a novel-length (and I really do mean novel length) Snucius planned for January/February, depending on my schedule, if that suits? ;-)

Well, you know I have to ask now. What's the basic premise?

Several things that I've wanted to have a look at. At its most basic, I'm intrigued by that theory (coming from the early parts of CoS - the selling stuff? God I need a reread of CoS badly) that the Malfoys are not as rich as they used to be or pretend to be - not that I necessarily think it's the case, but I do really like the idea. I'm no good at writing an essay to do that, so fic is the answer - I'll do the necesary fact-checking and stuff that way ;-) I want to look at a few of the weaknesses underneath Lucius and the rest of the family, and let the reader see them as Snape discovers them. But fear not, Lucius will still be a complete bastard, and there will be much smut *grin*
