So much awesomey awesomeness in fandom today, and I'm a bit envious I can't take part until I get home. Pity me, my lovelies.

Also, I thought I'd never hear myself say this, but there is a sizeable bulge in Draco's pleather catsuit. Go to hd_fanart and see for yourself. Also, Merlin friending meme is awesomesauce and happymaking. And I've been in ninja_orange's latest post stealing all the icons. And OMG non-Merlin-y people reccing Merlin is joyful joyness.

Arthur/Merlin sounds a bit like...
Harry/Dumbledore, doesn't it? ;P Then again, what with the re-make and all, Merlin seemed to have taken on Merlin's magical talents, and Gaius took on Merlin's veritable age - soooo.... does that mean that Merlin and Gaius are two sides of the same coin? =) (Not to mention, that Gaius acts a bit like fanfic!Snape!when!he!is!in!hiding!and!has!to!live!like!a!muggle!without!using!his!magic.... Not to mention that the parallel to Snape in Gaius is not to be denied.... Snape served a dark lord (so does Gaius), Gaius gave up his magic for the wishes of his lord (Snape was loyal to his dark lord, and to his 'other' lord), not to mention that there are an awful lot of lords around both Snape and Gaius.

Favourite moment: When Merlin tells Gaius that Gaius is more than a father to him. (this is canon!Merlin!^^). So, yes, I'd say the ship has merit. =)
