I have it on *very* good authority that you like... Merlin/Gaius. (The authority is ME! XD *I* like Merlin/Gaius, so everyone around me has to as well! :D). -_- But they are hiding behind Merlin/Arthur, which prompts me asking this: Would you know any Merlin/Gaius stories? (Nothin' better than the wizarding boy wonder and the old guy gettin' it on! :D Ahhh, Merlin! Stealing t3h snarry ship for itself *as well!* Heh.)

I *am* a Merlin/Gaius shipper, problem being, I am pretty much alone in my love for them. Apologies but I have no recs to share. I haven't been able to find much :(((

Is Gaius... *magical*? (What I've seen, he tried casting this spell once, and the other guy laughed and said that Gaius was so out of (magical) practice that it wasn't even funny. But the fact that he tried, meant that he *could* cast magic, once upon a time. And he's got the grimoire that he gave to Merlin - *is totally reminded of the book Snape had not given Harry.* :D

I keep trying to imagine the Arthur/Merlin dynamic and I come upon this - if Merlin and Arthur had their original age differences, do you think Arthur would be tugging on Merlin's beard and calling him 'old man?' (and then Merlin totally pwns Arthur into a toad, and places him inside Gaius's leech tank) ;P
