So, I am ridiculously ill with bacterial pneumonia and will probably be homebound for at least a week. This is the sickest I've been in 10 years, and I feel like the floor of a movie theatre. Ugh. So, I needed a happymaking post today. *coughs up a lung*

Ugh, would you believe it was swine fucking flue, TD? And boy did it ever knock me on my fucking ass. In 1 1/2 weeks, I think I ate maybe three meals without throwing up. There were a couple of times when I actually prayed for death :P

I've been debating signing up for the

snaco_exchange. I don't usually do exchange fests, due to my terror that I'll somehow be unable to finish the story and leave someone hanging. (It's never actually happened, but I live in fear.) But there are some awesome authors signed up for it, and as you say, the world needs more Snape/Draco...

Oh honey, you have all my sympathy, from one who knows JUST how rotten that is. I hope your doc has you on all the good stuff, and if you're not already, try steam (inhalation / shower / sauna) - I find it helps a lot (especially around the same time I take a new dose of my inhaler).

I really hope you get better soon - cause that bastard can linger. :(

Ugh, and lingering it is. It's been about two weeks now, but I am starting to feel much better. Just a residual cough left. Oh, and I was on such a cocktail of meds, but now there's nothing left but a few empty phials.

You poor dear -- SO sorry about the pneumonia -- I know just how miserable you are. Had the same thing in 2003; in the hospital for six days. My advice is not to push yourself at all. (And I'm sure that a steady diet of fanfic-reading is essential to recovery).

Would you believe I read not a word of fanfic when I was ill? It was kind of nice to just do nothing and well, be sick :P
