Lucius Big Bang

I suppose it was only a matter of time, really. I think the Big Bangs have passed the point of 'out of control', but I must confess that LBB intrigues me. I'm hoping it will cure my Lucius burn-out.

What I'd love to see?

A nice, long plotty Snape/Lucius fic. Back to humble beginnings, man. Snape/Lucius was one of my most favourite pairings back in the day. Yes, I'm jonesing for this.

Lucius GEN. YES, YES a thousand times YES. Now that's something you never, ever get to see. I want to know what life's been like in Azkaban. I want to know what kind of relationship Lucius had with Abraxas. I want to know how Lucius courted Narcissa. I want to see something other than an abusive relationship with Draco. I want to see Lucius cut open and bleeding. I want to see him vulnerable. Weep tears of joy, pain. I want to see a whole other side to him, dammit. The depth Rowling never gave us.

What I don't want to see?

Twenty Lucius/Harry rape/torture fics set in a dirty dungeon with a St Andrews' Cross. ZZZzzzZZZ

I am agonising here. They have such *beautiful* banners. I am easily enticed by banners. *sigh*
Someone should stop me from signing up, though, because I am incapable of living up to this L-arry Dungeons of Discontent standard you're all talking about. My epilogue compliant PG gen would be so out of place.

Aren't those banners beautiful? The whole layout of the community, too. The colour scheme works perfectly. Heh, yes, banners are teh shineh. I always love to have an accompanying banner when pimping.

Oh, pishaw, Chante! I would *love* to see your gen. Canon compliant, PG or otherwise.

It's an incredibly stylish community. They channel this fabulous image of Lucius, mature, decadent, with lots of secrets to explore. I am obviously doomed. (Unless someone requests a Lucius fic for my Haiti marathon (http://chantefable.livejournal.com/3937.html) and I have a reason to back out. But even then - never underestimate the power of shiny banners.)
