I, Meme, Mine

Taken from just about everyone today.

01. The first character I fell in love with: Snape. He pretty much made the book series for me.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Draco. I take strong issue with cowards, and he was just the biggest poster boy for complete pussy. But I think he's matured greatly, and well, he does have exquisite taste in boys with rumpled hair. *G*
03. The character (most) everyone else loves that I don't: Lucius. As a book character, he's two-dimensional. I can't get behind characters who remain stagnant for 7 damned books. He could have been great, too, limited only by Rowling's imagination. Seriously, what is with Rowling and her cardboard cut-out villains? THANK GOD for fandom writers and their character interpretations :-)
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Sirius. Everyone seems to hate on Sirius. Yes, he's a bullying arse. So are half of the other HP characters. And okay, he rides a flying motorcycle I'm thoroughly convinced is a Triumph. And someone who has excellent taste in bikes can't be all bad :P
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Lucius. Yes, he's still very pretty, but book Lucius lacks any substance whatsoever. Unlike a wine fine, he hasn't improved with age.
06. The character I would shag anytime: Snape.
07. The character I want to be like: Draco.
08. The character I'd slap: Voldemort. How does such a powerful Dark Lord get bested by a teenager? Pathetic.
09. A pairing that I love: Snape/Sirius!
10. Two pairings that I hate: Two? Fuck, I'll give you five: Snape/Hagrid, Draco/any female (throws up in her mouth a little), Harry/Hermione, Draco/Neville, Harry/Tonks.
11. Favourite character: Without question, Snape.
12. My six favourite characters: Snape, Harry, Draco, Sirius, Regulus, Pansy and Narcissa. That's six, but who's counting. Plus Scorpius, Teddy and Albus Severus if we're really not counting :P
13. My five least favourite characters: Hagrid, Ginny, Peter, Voldemort and Dobby. God, I fucking hate Dobby sooo much.
14. Which character I am most like: A cross between Snape and Draco.
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: I'm sure it's no surprise, but the last two books were practically unreadable to me. Just crap.

I'd say that Dobby needs to DIE IN A FIRE, but JKR already did that for me. :D The one thing she did right in the last book. >.>

And you and I share the same deep dark fandom secret. >.>
:D

I can absolutely relate to that. ;)

LOL, technically Snape was my 1st 'ooOOOh' love (it was his challenge, that Hermione solved... I read that, knew it had to be him, and said 'smart man will be MINE!' lol), but I had virtually adopted Harry and Hermione chapters earlier. It's a mom thing, I guess.

Naturally. Sirius wasn't in them :P

Heh. No surprise, and not even an uncommon opinion, but it's oddly gratifying to see it on this meme! M.

I'd forgotten about Dobby! I find the whole house-elf thing to be so problematic (not to mention how irritating they can be as characters) that I didn't even think of him when I made my "least favorite" list. But now I'm going to edit him in.

And Snape -- yeah, for him, I might go straight for a night.

The last two books really messed with everything for me, too. No secret. After Sirius's death, everything should have been dark and grim, not full of goofy romance and transparent tricks with Snape and polyjuice hijinks in the Ministry.

Ahaha, some of our answers are exact opposites. Although I am in complete agreement on Dobby and your fandom secret (although mine pretty much includes all the books... I don't find most of them unreadable, but I don't find them good either.)

You know, I should have put Dobby on my hate list, because he's up there. So badly written.
