They overwhelm me, too. But H/D are one of those ships in fandom whose fests I enjoy because so many of the great authors participate in them.

Oh, that's nice of you to say. I absolutely understand where you're coming from and don't feel obligated to read for BBBO, or mine specifically (but you are capable of taking care of your own decisions on what to/not to read, so I won't feign talking you out of it, ;)).
