Date: 2009-06-21 09:16 pm (UTC)edit: oh, and sorry, I misrepresented: only the first batch I listed are posting right now; the others are coming up or will start in the fall, just if Penny's interested in listing them. :)

Date: 2009-06-22 12:01 am (UTC)and you have to read *everything*?

Date: 2009-06-22 01:50 am (UTC)This is why, on occasion, we have been known to make sadfaces when various well-meaning fandom souls announce, "I'm creating a new fest for X!!!" :/ But, like I said above, I generally don't mind, or I wouldn't do it. :)

Date: 2009-06-22 01:57 am (UTC)i start making annoyed faces if i have to read more than *five* mid-length fics on recsletter day, and that's only for one pairing. 8] i don't know how you quibbler folks manage, esp. if it's a pairing/character you don't have even the slightest bit of interest in. :p

Date: 2009-06-24 01:24 pm (UTC)We have to be pretty open to any character or pairing to do the job, that's for certain. :) We had one kind soul for awhile who just couldn't read any Snapefic objectively, by her own admission. Heh. That's a tough one to get around in this fandom...

Date: 2009-06-24 12:38 pm (UTC)If you don't mind, I think I'll link to this post with an ETA. I'm with the others, I don't know how you manage to watch all these comms, let alone find good things to read.

Date: 2009-06-24 01:26 pm (UTC)Oh, finding good stuff to read isn't usually the problem. It's finding too many! It's why enticing headers and a good opening sequence are key, though, if you want your fic noticed. We only need half a reason to keep scrolling, when there are 16 other stories to glance at just before lunch. ;)
