Thinky Thoughts Post is Thinky

1.) I broke down and bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner, because black carpeting + white-bellied cat = lots of noticeable carpet fuzz. Best $325 bucks I've ever spent.

2.) I might've watched the entire Battlestar Galactica series in less than one month after having defiantly denounced its existence four years ago.

3.) I pulled my car over the other day to rescue a stuffed animal abandoned in the middle of the road. It's now buckled in my back seat. This cannot be considered normal.

4.) There will be anime recs soonish.

5.) Death Note Relight: Visions of a God = ♥

6.) I've seen Star Trek three times now. The Romulans, not surprisingly, are still made of suck.

7.) There will be a Star Trek poll tomorrow morning. And no, I've never given much thought to writing Spock/Chekov.

I bought Mr Brammers one for his 30th (he is an engineering porn tragic). He just had his 40th, it still goes like the clappers and is our fave household appliance. It even has a little hand-held friend now (and that sounds much pervier than I meant it to ...) They ROCK. And it has never needed servicing, despite the fact that our house is filled with furry cats and a very long haired me.

My sister's had one for about ten years, too, and she told me it was totally worth the investment. I just hated spending $100 bucks every year for a run of the mill vacuum. After three years, you've practically paid for the Dyson. I lucked out. I got mine on sale. Normally, the DC-14 runs about $399. I'm very pleased with it so far. What model do you have?

And how sad is it that I think I need a Dyson icon :P
