It's always amazed me just how many people peruse LJ at work. Me, I'm much too busy. Christ, half the time I'm lucky if I can squeeze out a fart or inhale my lunch. I suppose part of me is a bit jealous, but the other half of me thinks 'hey, I'm working my arse off here, shouldn't everyone else be?'
I've noticed that fandom (including me :P) caters to those that LJ surf at work. I try and include ratings when reccing both fic and art. It does amuse me, however, when I see someone bitch that a rating wasn't given and 'oh, shit, my boss got a crash course in channish buggery.' Hell, I've even seen someone bitch about icons ratings. Yeah, okay, lemme go ahead and rate my icons. *eyerolls* Could you pass the crackpipe this way, kthnx?
