Trust me, 2009 will be here in no time. We're already half-way through 2007. (Not that I need any reason to speed up my life any further.) Hopefully they will actually have it finished in 2009 (Halloween would be cool, wouldn't it?) and I'd say it gives us all just enough time to save money and plan a huge get-together.

Am I really the only one who was disgusted after reading that tidbit of news? This is so....American. Really. It is so commercial and so typical to try to squeeze the last but of money (especially pocket money)out of fans that it makes me shudder...okay, okay when I was younger...MUCH younger say 13 years old I also was in Heaven when my parents went with me to Disneyland (the original one...not that one in Paris) but my love for theme parks in general and especially Disney has cooled down considerably and the idea of a Disneylike Harry Potter Theme Park is absolutely revolting to me.

Well, after a bout of fangirl squeeing and now that you mention it, I agree that it's quite a non-subtle way of increasing revenues from the Harry Potter brand and JK Rowling's idea.

But really, isn't monetary incentive what drives most people to action, to be fair? :) And as much as I love (metaphorical) American-bashing *winces and prepares to be attacked*, commercialising the public's love of well, anything, isn't only limited to American companies.
