I'm afraid I can no longer be so lenient with friending. Likewise, I will not be friending back empty journals, journals consisting of nothing but memes, and journals in languages I don't speak. Conversely, all of my fics can be found at the links listed on my userinfo.

Please leave a comment here along with an age statement, and we'll see how things go.

You've locked? Arghno! I was just looking back through fic of yours the other day :(. And you do all these interesting pairings which don't seem to have comms to go to... and you're, like, one of my favourites. /wail.

Are you not on my flist? I have no idea who I've friended or not at this point. Up until about a year ago, I had a policy of automatically refriending anyone who friended me, but my flist got to be too big to read doing that as more people started reading my fic, because I do read it if I've got you friended. At least skim to see if I'm interested. So then I stopped, and I've been slowly defriending people as interests change, or whatever.

I have to think about how I want to handle this. At the moment I'm thinking I'll friend anyone who asks and who friends me back (or has already), because I can't see the point of exposing myself to X is X doesn't expose herself back to me. Exhibitionism for all, baby! Anyway, I'll look, and friend you if I haven't done that. Because I also don't archive. Anywhere. So if you ever see anything archived of mine, it was almost certainly done without my permission. And, I don't post to comms in substance - I only post a link to them, not the actual fic. For the same reasons - I want control (or the illusion of it on the internet, because it's not really possible), instant lock-down.

Exhibitionism - heh, yeah.

D'you use filters at all on your flist? I don't with this journal, although I've got lots of people-journals and comm-journals friended now and am considering breaking them up for easier browsing.

I have the tiny worry that the originators of this thing will set off some other blog-vigilantes who'll see it as their job to get what falls through the cracks. Because there are always pricks with too much time on their hands :-/. One wonders how LJ might handle a sudden slew of complaints.

I can see the control thing. Seems perfectly reasonable :). I put stuff on comms because I have a teeny flist and am a hor for comments :).

(Um. Hi P! in ur journal, spamming ur comments)
