Type O Negative Concert Review

So Type O Negative played last night at Harpos in Detroit. What can I say about Peter Steele other than he is who I see in my head when I think of Sirius Black. I've used him as an avatar on so many RPs I've lost count.

When I was 16, I used to give a shit what I wore to a concert. Now, it's jeans, a t-shirt and my crotch rocket motorcycle jacket. The Hot Topic Ho Brigade was on parade last night, and there were chicks with more piercings on their face than I have on my whole body, and yeah, that's a fuckin' lot.

I, of course, pushed my way up to the stage. I needed to see Peter Steele up close. There are always your usual brand of fuckfaces when you stand this close. There was a chick that looked like Natasha Lyonne only her face was seriously ten miles of bad road. And the usual hobags flipping up their shirts so Peter Steele could see their nappy titties.

The sound acoustics were pretty lousy, but honestly, I didn't much give a shit. I was content to watch Peter Steele's nipples (which were OMG WTF HARD ALL NIGHT) through the amp feedback and drunken arsewipes trying *coughs* to get a mosh pit going. Kids.

I should concert review for Rolling Stone, yes? *G*

And not only is Peter hot, but. He also is the most eloquent, most courteous and charming man you'll ever meet. If he feels like it. :) Other than that he can be an utter arsehole. And even that will send you flailing. I've had the dubious pleasure of interviewing him three times, and well, two out of three he was nice!Pete. #3 was like pulling teeth. But still. A gentleman. :)

Heh. John Butler Trio actully did a free gig here. Accoustic/Folk sounds very Marley. But I'm there waiting, and actually took a photo of everybody's legs. just because the whole thing looked like denim convention!
