Except that for some of us, it is. See, I was raised in an area where "come" was a verb and "cum" was a noun. I've grown out of that, because so many people seem to hate it, but seeing "come" used as a noun knocks me out of fic to this very day, even my own fics.
I feel kind of the same way about 'arse.' I don't particularly like the word and use it anyway, because it's more widely accepted it seems.
And I have to say it would be nice, just once, to see one of your entries not phrased as a rant. Just sayin'.
