Everybody and their brother seems to be watching Snarry Games, but I'm still going to squee and review as much as I can. One thing's for sure, though, Snarry fen do not skimp. On quantity or quality.

[ART] A Fair and Firm Hand [NWS] by Ponderosa.

Hands down, this is my favourite entry from the fest so far. The cocky look on Snape's face. The wine glass in his hand. The white gloves. Harry's bare (spanked and red!) bum. The British naval uniforms. I have died a thousand little deaths.

[FIC] Something Ever After [R] by the_con_cept.

TCC is definitely the queen of Snarry humour. Picture an amalgamation of every Disney cliché layered with wit and charm, and you have Something Ever After. Harry's big cock-up in this reminds me of Ash in Army of Darkness when his spell recitation is less than accurate, and he tries to correct himself after the fact. Just some really funny shit, man.

[FIC] The Shadowless Hereafter [PG-15] by perfica.

Snarry meet Wuthering Heights. Wuthering Heights meet Snarry. Told from the perspective of Mr Woodlock, an engaging OC, who's come in search of a story about war hero Harry Potter. Beautiful, beautiful writing and storytelling. Even if you've never read Bronté, you'll still be entranced.

I really wish I had time to scout out more Merlin art. Luckily, this pretty much fell into my lap. Just, guh, the most *perfect* Arthur.

Yes, I am a bit of a hypocrite. I firmly state that crossdressing is not my cuppa, and yet there are three recs on this post that contain c/d.

I suppose in my defence it helps that this fic is HOT. There's no other word for it. The writing just sizzles, and what the author promises is a fuckload of hot and dirty.

Evasive Action (1/?) - Kirk/McCoy [R] by pir8fancier.

I'm a bit hesitant to rec this simply because it's a WIP. Though, I've never known Pir8 not to sequel.

After a life-shattering divorce, Bones falls to pieces. And jerky, selfish Jim is there at every turn.

Can I just lament again about how sorry I am that I did not watch BSG when it first aired? I was too stupidly pissed over Starbuck's role-reversal to give it a proper go, and that was my first mistake. If anyone who hasn't seen the series is looking for strong female leads, I highly recommend BSG. Half my favourite characters were female, so that should really tell you something.

That said...

HOGOD, this fic is sooo much crazy fun. Sheer crack, but the characterisations never falter. I am reminded once more of how much I love this universe before things (both the good and the bad) went to fucking hell ♥
