Lavendar/Padma. The premise is that Lavendar comes to stay with the Patils for part of the summer before their seventh year and Parvati gets sick partway through. So Lavendar spends a lot of time with Padma and things begin to happen there. The novel will focus a lot on the dynamics of the Lavendar/Parvati friendship and how Parvati deals with her feelings of jealousy -- she is not gay but feels somewhat betrayed that her best friend has strong feelings for her sister now as well. It will also delve into 'being gay at Hogwarts' in that in this version of the Potterverse being gay is still fairly rare (as opposed to some parts of the fandom where everyone is gay or bi!) so they will have some prejudices to deal with as well.
There will also be a subplot dealing with research of magical energies, but it hasn't been that fully developed yet.
