Heh, good question. A little thinking resulted in this: I prefer and use lubrication spells when the characters are in a hurry or I want it to emphasize the lack of emotions. Lubrication - I read and write Snape, so it's always selfmade ;) - is for play. I don't think I have written anything that qualifies as strange lube.

Yes, I have written no-lube, but that was non-con (and Voldemort's two snake-cocks weren't very thick).

No condoms - they bore me.

Scented lubes bother me. I like perfume, but the concept of "Wow, your arse smells like Christmas" is just ick. Flavoured and tingling/itching/whatever lubes on the other hand is quite a preference of mine if the lube is to be mentioned in more than passing.
