I am feeling video game nostalgic (now with added art rec)

I probably could have bought myself a small island with all the quarters I wasted mastering every version of Mortal Kombat.

I even have a tattoo of Sub Zero on my back. Also, I ship Raiden/Liu Kang pretty hard ♥ And SZ/Sc ♥

What are your all time favourite video games?

Mine are...

Mortal Kombat
Doom
Resident Evil
Tombraider

Scorpion [WS] by Stand Alone Complex on DA

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Tribunal and Bloodmoon to some extent.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (I got to beta Dawnguard!!)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, especially Shivering Islands.

I'm not a huge gamer but I have an unhealthy addiction to Bioshock 1 and 2. Waiting for Infinite is killing me. :(

I think I have permanent wrist damage from all the hours of Tempest.

I used to play Resident Evil and Tombraider too. Wow, it's been a while.

Oh, and the HP games!!!

I remain a pinball addict. I almost got a pinball machine in my apartment despite the lack of space, but have resigned myself to sticking to good computer pinball--the really good versions available for computer and gaming systems are satisfying. (Slam Tilt, Extreme Pinball, Williams Hall of Fame Collection.)

Classic video games: Centipede, Tempest, Dragon's Lair.

Classic computer games: Tetris, Monkey Island

Current gaming system games: Dance Dance Revolution! :D

The one computer game I play these days, at intervals, is Enzai (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enzai:_Falsely_Accused). :D I know, I know, GIANT PERV.

I've never played video games - never owned a Playstation, Nintendo, Sega or whatever they were called. I remember my older brother spending money on those arcade game-machines during the summer holidays.
On the computer, however, I used to play The Sims, and I was thrilled when I discovered how other Sims-fans made costumized skins, objects and such so we could make Roman Sims. :D That's probably the only computer game I've really played a lot. (Scratch that; that's more or less the only computer game I've played! :p)
I've always been more about books and music. :)

My favorite old-school arcade games were Lock 'n' Chase (based on the Japanese anime Lupin the Third), Mappy, Crystal Caves, Joust, and Dig-Dug. The later games I enjoyed were Doom II and Kingdom Hearts.

If you are a fan of ANY type of video game, then you MUST see Disney's upcoming 3D animated feature "Wreck-It Ralph."

The trailer alone is chockfull of cameos of video game characters. I was so delighted to see Qbert. :)

My favourite is Minesweeper. Pretty badass. Particularly the special effects. *g*

Kill the Pedestrian.
I'm showing my age, since this was an arcade game. Also, it's the only video game I've ever played, unless
you count Mah-jongg and Solitaire on my cell phone.
