I'm lost then. The only other thought I had was Mandos/Morgoth. Melkor/Morgoth seems like a good candidate for "betrayer with two names" (but then I was thinking Annatar/Sauron and Saruman/Curunír, too), but if so I dunno who a "dark Ainu" is supposed to be...

There's too many potential two-named people, since like everyone of prominence collects names in Sindarin, and Quenya, and the tongue of Men, and sometimes Dwarvish, and... ;)

Also tripped over Ainur/Valar/Maiar (which latter I think I was mistaking for Ainur at some point and clouding my thinking)...
