Nope, not at all! Actually remember that fandom meme that was circulating around at some point, about fandoms as boy/girlfriends? Merlin is the one fandom that everyone else is flailing about how amazing it is, and I just stand to the side and wonder why. But I suspect it has something to do with me needing my slash pairings to be on an equal (or something like that) footing. I will, however, read any and all Merlin AUs! Some of my favourite stories are of that variety!
