DIDN'T YOU LOVE THE KUROSHITSUJI DRACO?? I mean, really. :D

Wasn't he just perfect for that? *G*

Oh, GOD, and you read my silly wordsmithy Teddy/Regulus fic that no one else read. Honestly, I'm so embarrassed over the lack of comments on that, I'd considered deleting the fic and pretending like it never happened.

*sigh* Hon, I'm looking at that and thinking--besides how rich and powerful a story it is-- "Wow, she got a decent number of comments for it being such a rarepair." The reality of it may suck, but commenters just aren't going to show up in droves for rarepairs--or, in similar cases, teensy peripheral fandoms they don't know (i.e., anime). I knew that when I started getting into anime and wanting to write for anime series; I wasn't going to get the readers in numbers any more, so, the joy of writing had to be my compensation.

Write for yourself. Take joy and reassurance from the few people who DO tell you how good it is. But mostly write because the idea has your heart and wants to be made manifest in fic. Write it to your specifications--it's the number one reward.

*hugs*

Really? You think six is decent? Now see, I must be spoilt, because I think six is terrible. I mean, I knew I wasn't going to get a shitload, not with this style, not with this pairing. I was thinking along the lines of maybe fifteen? But six is just depressing. This sorta thing kills my drive to write, because then I think, why bother if no one's going to read it?

*HUGS* You always make me feel good about what I write, though, Amy ♥

Yeah, "decent" is a subjective word, isn't it. I've really lowered my expectations since beginning to write in smaller, more obscure fandoms, though.
