Did I already recc Welcome to the NHK to you? It's my current fave. The manga goes kind of off a cliff when they start contradicting what's in the original novel, but the anime doesn't do that. It's a bit bleak but I like it a lot and it drives me crazy that I can't find a fandom for it.
