I didn't answer the poll because my feelings weren't represented, so I wonder how many others like me chose something on the pleased side, or didn't answer at all. So count me as one for 'meh'.
And actually, I don't give a crap about gay characters in the books. In fact, I'm highly sick and freaking tired of hearing OTHER people whining about how they think X character is gayer than a spring lamb, and why doesn't JKR just admit it and get it over with. Or others, who despite evidence that whatever character they love is straight, slash them with everone under the sun and then some. And on top of that, I'm sick of people caring so much about this shit, because a character's sexuality has NOTHING TO DO with the story being told, and *that's* why it's not in the books.
So yeah, I'm a little frayed around the edges over all this stinking hoopla about Dumbledore being gay and how it's so bloody fecking wonderful. Who the fuck cares? And that's not on your poll. So I was snarky, and I apologize. I really do. It's not your fault I'm lashing out. I just hate that I'm having to hide from the internet to avoid this shit.
