I mean "enh, *shrug* so what?". I don't personally care either way what his orientation happens to be. It doesn't change anything about the storyline except give a different colour to his relationship with Grindelwald, which isn't necessary for the plot (although it may be more satisfying than just a hunger for power and youthful blindness to how things can turn out bad for others).
