What a day it's been...
Today was supposed to be my day off. I'm sick, so I was looking forward to faffing off. Then I got called into work. It was only 4.5 hours, so it was not a huge deal.
Now I'm babysitting my 8 month old great nephew. I couldn't bear the thought of my niece and her husband missing Wicked, because their sitter cancelled last minute.
He's been sleeping for about 30 minutes, but I keep checking on him, because I'm ridiculously paranoid. I have a new found respect for mothers of young children. I'm not sure what sort of mother I would have made, but having him fall asleep in my arms made me wonder if I made the right choices.
