Art Recs

Fit for a Queen -- Snape/Hermione (NWS) by [livejournal.com profile] ponderosa121.

I'm in the midst of writing the accompanying fic for this, but I wanted to rec this just the same. Ponds is the mistress of pony play. Not only is her art lovely, but she has such a grasp on this kink it makes my head spin.

Wall Sex -- Snape/Narcissa (NWS) by [livejournal.com profile] teawithvoldy.

There is Snape happy trail, Narcissa boobage, and extreme beakyness. Grrr!

Locker Room -- Snape (WS/PG-13) by [livejournal.com profile] lizardspots.

It's Snape by his lonesome, but of course the diehard Snacker in me sees Black in the opposite shower stall. Lizard draws one of the best Snapes in fandom. He's beaky (yeah, I'm fixated on the nose, whatuvit?), and for a skinny bloke, he's got nice legs. I want to remove his towel and snap his ass with it.

Move, Away, Potter -- Snape and Hermione and Harry (WS) by [livejournal.com profile] ledivinemarquis.

...

Just. Go. Look.

Wizard's Duel -- Snape and Lockhart (WS) by [livejournal.com profile] bogfrog.

This picture makes me giggle. Lockhart's a fun, underrated character. And I like seeing the peacocky ones get their comeuppance. Plus, there is Lockhart bulge. *G*

And lastly a few recs by [livejournal.com profile] pojypojy. She's a new artist I discovered on [livejournal.com profile] erotic_elves, and I love what I've seen so far.

Snape and Sirius arguing (WS)

Sirius and Lily smuttage (NWS)

Snape and Lily sharing a fag (WS)

Oh, and if you haven't friended [livejournal.com profile] caladan_dd yet, dOOd what the fuck are you waiting for? Her art is SUBLIME.

I wasn't sure if I was going to post this. And I wasn't sure if I was going to friendslock it.

But I am. And I'm not. I feel this needs to be said. And I feel it's my duty to say this. How could I not when [livejournal.com profile] rosesanguina offered to make me a spandex suit and christen me 'The LJ Avenger?'

People, it's just not cool to lie about your age. Or your identity. Or anything else for that matter that may end up hurting someone. It's not cool to create a sockpuppet LJ for the express purpose of being invited to a private community when you might not have been otherwise. Bottom line, it's not cool to dupe anyone with trickery.

I'm not perfect. I've lied. I've done a lot of things I'm not especially proud of. But [livejournal.com profile] themostepotente has been my LJ name now for two years. I'm pretty open about my name being Penny. My age is listed in my user info. My location. Tidbits about me. People have talked to me on the phone. Met me. The only thing I wouldn't readily post is my last name and address. That's understandable.

Now there are people online who enjoy their secrecy, and who am I to deny them that right? This is NOT what I'm on about. There are people content to live their fandom life in secrecy, but the thing of it is, I get no strange vibes. I believe what I see and what I am told. No red flags. But with some people, I don't get that feeling. I've ran across that much too much as of late, and frankly it makes me uneasy and cross.

It's like this. Any kind of deception that falls under what I've been describing ranks right up there with the absolute scummyness that is plagiarism. If I catch anyone doing this to dupe fandom as a whole or a person singularly, me and a whole host of other people I have been discussing this with will not hesitate to make an example of your sorry ass. You will not hurt my friends. And you will not hurt me.

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this. If you have a story to share, please do.
