I am glad that I'm not alone in thinking that Schnabel's artwork is a tad... overrated, ahem.
Yes, I had the un-pleasure of seeing it once in a touring exhibition. I stomped out of the museum in a foul temper, snorting at the gullibility of the local curators. (Though compared to Jeff Koons, Schnabel's an artistic prodigy.) And I agree that he ought to direct more. Basquiat's also good.
Bardem is out of this world. *_* He's one of those actors that can make mediocre movies great by his mere presence.
The solemn truth. The fact that he's gorgeous, of course, doesn't hurt. ;-)
