Art Recs

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] darkasphodel for ploying me with GOOD recs. So lazy today, I swear.

Some of these are NOT HBP spoiler free, so heed warning.

Sectumsempra -- Draco Malfoy (R) by [livejournal.com profile] red_rahl.

This was one of my favorite scenes from the book, and Rahl captues it PERFECTLY here. You almost feel sorry for the little git.

Death Eater Card Series -- Igor Karkaroff (G) by [livejournal.com profile] appleviking.

Dude -- Karkaroff is wearing a monocle. That is so fucking SEX-AY. I love Carrot's DE series, and I'm patiently awaiting Severus and Regulus.

The Phoenix Lament -- Albus Dumbledore/Gen (PG) by [livejournal.com profile] gredandfeorge.

Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. So sad. A beautifully drawn but touching portrait.

Padfoot Returns -- Sirius Black/Gen by [livejournal.com profile] nassima.

Lovely detail. Trioness. And chicken-leg eating Sirius!

A Lesson in Flying (G) by [livejournal.com profile] ac1d6urn.

This is a sketch of a pair of hands from one of her fics, and OMFG, the detail? CHRIST. I would love to see my dear, sweet Acid draw 'The Hand of Glory' in gory detail.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] caladan_dd's art? kjdbounpeixc[08How86z9u3jk

Yeah, that about sums it up nicely. I think if she ever drew Snape/Black, that'd be the end of me.

If you haven't been to her journal yet, you are doing your art-whoring self a grave disservice.

Some nice art recs there. I never have to seek out these things for myself, because they come to me via my f-list. I'm so Slytherin.

I'd seen the trading cards before, I think. A bunch of great artwork. I feel so non-artistic in comparison. And my university degree is in art.

*chuckles* [livejournal.com profile] darkasphodel linked me, because I was feeling mucho lazy.
